

Inspired by knit vests I saw in stores from Urban Outfitters to Loehmann's, I made this draped knit vest. The back is short and the front is long and draped with a small shawl collar.


I altered
BurdaStyle's
Lydia pattern to create the pattern for this. I divided the front in the center and extended it to create the draping and shawl collar. Then I shaped the hem to be shorter in back and left off the sleeves. I left all the edges raw for a super easy and fast project. I think I'll try another version with the shoulders narrowed and make a tutorial for the pattern.
