Sewing Books for Christmas

I love old sewing and crafting books. They are full of useful information and have great illustrations. Plus, it's fun to search for them.

The book on the right was a Christmas gift from John and Lisa. I really love the casual wardrobe drawings in this one. I bought the book on the left at a thrift store in Eugene after New Years. Some pics from it below.
Mom and Dad gave me a couple of embroidery books for Christmas. Sublime Stitching has retro pattern transfers and basic how to. The New Crewel has instruction and very unique modern designs.

So far I've made a little owl from a design in Sublime Stitching and a free hand butterfly. I'm thinking the owl might become a pocket somewhere.
