New Fall Sewing Patterns

I picked up a few new patterns during the Labor Day sale at JoAnns. I really don't need more patterns but it's too hard to resist!McCalls M5877
This pattern was recommended in a comment (by Kronhaus) to this post. Thank you so much for the recommendation! I love the look of this pattern and I plan to try it out. I'm going to do it in a dark color because I'm afraid the looseness won't look flattering.

I have some grey coat material that might work for this if it's not too heavy.

I like the details of this dress, the gathers at the yoke and shoulder and the yoke itself. My fear is that it would be too loose. I'd have to wear it belted.

I love the criss-cross front and fitted silhouette. I think it might be an easy pattern to make up and I could wear the dress to work.

I think this dress would look so fun in a large print. But I'm tempted to try it first in a solid. This dress would be so much fun for a night out on the town.

I would wear the top and skirt to work. So sophisticated!

I love the flared back on the vest and jacket. I want to make the vest first. The skirt feels very 70s to me, somewhat tempting.
