I'm swooning over the Crocheted Nature from BBBcraft on the Design*Sponge Guest Blog
ReadyMade Magazine Feb/March 2010 issue
very inspiring issue for me, particularly: Upgrade a Dress (p70 or online), artist's home (p62, photo above) see how to make that rustic cool bench here. I'd love a bench like that for my balcony garden.
Sewing Patterns on Martha Stewart:
Denim Coverall Dress
Embroidered T-shirt
Textured Pillows
Makeup tip:
I discovered a technique for a smoother, less clumpy mascara application. Specifically, the mascara in question is CoverGirl LashBlast. It's a relatively new style of brush with short bristles on a thick wand.
1. Position wand at base of lashes. (optional: slightly shift/wiggle the wand left to right)
2. Sweep the wand upward while spinning/rotating the wand.
That's it. Perfect application nearly every time.
