This lovely velvet pillow was made by my grandmother Louise and her sisters. I seem to remember that there were a few of these pillows but I only have one now. The design is a kind of modified
log cabin.
Here's the reverse side of the pillow. The velvet is soooo soft. You wouldn't believe it. This precious little pillow sits on a chair in my living room. It really deserves more regular attention.
Amazing pillow! I can't believe that it's still in great condition.. or at least it appears it's in great condition. For some reason I felt nostalgic as if it was my grandma that made it:) I could picture your grandma and her sisters making it... it brought back memories of my own. I love those kind of memories.
