A few months ago I stumbled across the amazing blog Too Crewel run by the lovely Liesi. I was impressed by her beautiful crewel embroidery and the amount of pieces she makes. I found her work so inspiring that I just had to reach out and propose a collaboration of her embroidery skills and my sewing skills.
We decided to make a fabric clutch together. We made some sketches, chose colors and fabric, all via email. She started by embroidering the outside of the clutch, mailing the pieces to me, then I embroidered the lining and stitched it all together. And isn’t it just lovely?
This was a really fun piece to do and such a great experience to collaborative with another crafty soul. So, in honor of sharing and collaboration, we’re going to give this clutch away to one lucky reader. This clutch will be a beautiful addition to your Spring/Summer wardrobe and I'm so excited for the lucky gal who is going to win this one-of-a-kind piece.
