I wrote a review of Printic a few months ago when they launched in the US. Printic is a very fun smartphone app that you can use to order polaroid style prints and have them delivered right to your mailbox. Prints are just 99 cents each and shipping is free. Awesome, right?

I love taking photos with my smartphone and playing around with photo editing apps. I will even double filter my photos, making color or contrast adjustments in one app and then filter in another. Embroidered Clutch Collaboration and Giveaway (CLOSED)

A few months ago I stumbled across the amazing blog Too Crewel run by the lovely Liesi. I was impressed by her beautiful crewel embroidery and the amount of pieces she makes. I found her work so inspiring that I just had to reach out and propose a collaboration of her embroidery skills and my sewing skills. 

We decided to make a fabric clutch together. We made some sketches, chose colors and fabric, all via email. She started by embroidering the outside of the clutch, mailing the pieces to me, then I embroidered the lining and stitched it all together. And isn’t it just lovely?

Giveaway and Design Tips to Make a Photo Collage Wall

Recently, I was invited to attend a party hosted by HP and interior designer Genevieve Gorder (you remember her from Trading Spaces, right?). The purpose of the event was to showcase HP's new photo wall decor products. I arrived early because I was super paranoid about being late. Being early can be so awkward sometimes can't it? This time it worked out for me and I got to chat with Genevieve for a little while about design and blogging. She was very nice, obviously passionate about design and so pretty! We bonded over our graphic design backgrounds and Northwest connections. I told her that I'd like to try printing some of my Instagram photos. And she shared that she had printed some low res Hipstamatic photos on canvas and they looked really great. Now I just need to choose which of my Instagrams I want to print!
