Moodboard – Go Green for under $100

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope everyone is having a nice Monday holiday. To help you celebrate, I've found some fun, classic pieces in green all for under $100. Green is one of my favorite colors so I'm happy to wear it all year round. How do you feel about green? Do you wear it all year or just on special days?

DIY Horseshoe Embroidered Clutch

Here's a quick little St. Patrick's Day themed clutch I made over the last week. I used the pattern for the Artsy Clutch from the book Bend The Rules Sewing by Amy Karol (see my review of the book here). I made the clutch once before and really love using it to take small knitting sewing projects on the go. I made this one just a little bigger than last time but otherwise followed the instructions from the book.

DIY Tutorial – St. Patrick's Day Lapel Pins

St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner and it's time to start thinking about what to wear. No one likes to get pinched but most people don't want to dress in full leprechaun regalia. To solve this I created two little DIY lapel pins for St. Patrick's Day that add just a touch of green to any outfit. They are both easy and fun to make as well as being great gifts.

Font Friday – HVD Rowdy

This week's Font Friday is HVD Rowdy a free font from HVD Fonts. The font was made using potato stamps which I think is totally craft-tastic. I was actually playing around with some potato stamping this last weekend. It's super fun and I hope to do more of it. To actually make a whole font composed of potato carved stamps is an impressive feat. This font is definitely not for everyday use (certainly not for large blocks of text) but for everyone once in a while, headline use it's appropriate. And for when you want to let a little loose on say St. Patrick's Day, it's perfect.

Moodboard – Emerald Green for St. Patrick's Day

With St. Patrick's Day less than a week away and Emerald Green dubbed color of the year, it is the perfect time to present you with a green moodboard. Green is one of my favorite colors, especially a green with a lot of blue that's almost teal and really vibrant.

Free Printable – Happy St. Patrick's Day Card

St. Patrick's Day is coming up soon – March 17th. So in honor of the day, here's a St Patrick's Day card free for you to download and print yourself.

Click here or the image below to download. Print the card on 8.5 x 11 inch paper and cut out using the crop marks. Make sure to print with Page Scaling set to "None". The finished size of the card is 4 x 6 inches.
